We decided to start this group to give dog owners a safe, clean, fun, and tempture controlled enviroment to come and socialize with their dogs. Anyone who has a dog who gets along well with others should join our group.

Meetup with other local dog owners of friendly, playful Dogs! All breed and all sizes are welcome! Come share some dog & human fun as we all get together to play with our dogs & chat about our dogs! There are fenced in areas for the dogs to play & snacks for their humans! We also have indoor facilities for those cold or rainy days.

While our events committee was working to develop new fundraisers for MDOG, it occurred to us that we have been missing out on supporting a large part of our followers, singles. This group is to bring people together in a forum where they have a common interest, dogs. In a society where your dog is becoming a family member, it's important the people you meet inderstand what your pet means to you. You don't have to own a dog to join this group, just love them!

PAWS is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1962 by Westport, Connecticut resident Betty Long to rescue homeless dogs and place them in permanent homes. In the early 1980s, our rescue efforts were expanded to include cats. PAWS rescues & rehomes approximately 115 dogs and 435 cats annually. Many of the dogs faced euthanasia at local pounds and most of the cats that we help are strays and abandoned cats that roam our streets. This Meetup is for anyone who loves bully breeds (American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Boxers, etc.) and wants a chance to meet up with other bully breed owners and socialize their dogs with pack walks and off-leash hikes/walking adventures, and an occasional meetup at a dog park or dog-related event going on in the area. Welcome to our group! We meet once a month at a local dog park to allow our dogs to socialize and play. Anyone who is owned by a dachsie, thinking about it or has a pup that would like to be an honorary "low-rider" is welcome. Free puppy playgroup in fenced-in backyard; supervised by certified applied animal behaviorist.  For clients of Westport Dog Training, LLC and other area puppy owners.  This playgroup gives puppies a chance to socialize with their peers, and owners will be delighted to take home a tired puppy.  Puppies should be two to six months of age, up-to-date with vaccinations, and friendly towards other puppies and people.  No metal collars or shock collars, please.
